Girl, I see you….

Utterly Exhausted, barely getting by, feeling run down, stuck in survival mode, and you just can’t seem to find time and space for yourself.

Overwhelmed, feeling disconnected from your body, not recognizing your emotional reactions, crying often and desperate for peace, balance and rest.

Stuck in the burnout cycle, feeling numb and disconnected, complicated with outbursts of anger and frustration, seeking control, support, and contentment.

You do not have to live this way….

Investing in yourself is the first brave step in the right direction and you are half way there just being here and by reading this. Healing from Burnout is a process, and it starts with reconnecting to your mind, body, and spirit. You are on the right path.

In my 7 step program, I walk you through that process. We start by cultivating a deep relationship with the self. Forging this deep connection aids in attuning you to your bodies cries for attention and care. As you build this connection you will gain a new depth of self compassion and strengthen your bond inward. Together we will work to find the best way for you to meet your needs. This will kickstart your healing process.

You will start to notice subtle shifts that will leave you feeling lighter, you will find yourself resting more, sleeping better, taking better care of yourself, and most importantly you will have more energy. As you progress through the program this bond inward will only strengthen. We will work together to implement new tools for stress relief, to eliminate energy suckers, to build new support systems, and to introduce new boundaries where they may be lacking. This will create the space you need to start to connect to the joy that currently exits in your life.

With renewed energy and a sense of gratitude we will begin to dive deep into your strengths, dreams and values. This work will help you to forge a path forward that is aligned with your purpose. Sometimes this means a renewed love for your life as it is, and for others this will lead to new paths. As you move through this process your confidence will start to grow as your sense of self and purpose begin to align. This will fill you with passion and energy.

We will use this momentum and fresh perspective to set a plan in place to prevent future burnout.

I’ve been there….

Here is my story. I spent the first 5-6 years as a professional working in different psych settings; from psych hospitals, therapeutic intervention programs, residential treatment centers, to therapeutic boarding schools. I had the privilege of working with some of the most amazing therapists/ psych professionals out there. I have spent the last 10 years working in many different ICU specialties as a travel nurse and speciality float nurse, I traveled all around the country. I worked all throughout COVID. Again, meeting so many truly amazing nurses, and healthcare workers.

I suffered from burnout many times over the course of my career. The last was by far the worst. After a decade helping others, sacrificing my own needs to be there for my patients and their families, I finally broke. l mean I really broke, and I needed help. I was crying on the way to and from work, having panic attacks at work where my heart was racing dangerously fast. My blood pressure was through the roof, literally stroke worthy. I felt like I was walking around in a fog dragging such a weight. I went to my primary care doc, gynecologist (thought maybe it was perimenopause), I saw a cardiologist, went to my works EAP, I saw a couple therapists, and broke down to my manager, all in an attempt to find some help. I felt like my body was shutting down. Literally I was terrified I was losing control, and I was going to either die or have some kind of mental break down.

Medications is pretty much all I got from all of that, a handful of medications. I saw the tunnel narrowing, my worst fear of ending my life suffering in the same ICU’s I had been working in was starting to look like a possibility. I felt like no one cared, like something was wrong with me and worst of all like I was all alone. My family and friends couldn’t understand me. All I knew was I needed to find a way out. I was having thoughts and emotions to the point where I didn’t recognize myself anymore and I was scared.

Here’s where I turned it around. Holistic health is something I have been developing in my personal life for as long as I can remember. I leaned hard on this the last five years of my bedside career. Breath-work and meditation before work every single morning were the only ways I was able to walk through the door. After some deep soul searching and what I will call my “dark night of the soul”.  I knew I had to put me first, so slowly I started to align my body and mind.

It was not until I found nurse coaching that I was able to truly heal and exit the cycle. I signed up for a holistic nurse coach program and I stepped back. I literally took time 3 months off work, accruing a mountain of debt. I jumped in headfirst learning everything I could. I realized I have so much more to offer. I am here hoping no one else has to suffer alone. I am here to help you connect to your body and find balance. I am here to support you on your journey to align with your true self and achieve whole health and I am here to help people like me who are struggling with burnout and feeling all alone. I still work bedside ICU, I’m not quite ready to lay it down. I found my purpose, I found my balance, and you can too.

As part of my healing, it is now my passion to pay that gift forward.  I founded The Moonflower Collective in January of 2024 to help women through burnout.

I have created a 7 step program to walk women through this process, Burnout to Blossoming: Reclaim your Energy and Joy!
